On June 24, 2011, I performed Color From God-lung (Larkwat 1152) at Breathing Room in San Francisco. I was accompanied by 3 gifted artists: Ricardo Abreu Bracho, Vanessa Camarena-Arredondo and Kevin Seaman.
This was the second-ever incarnation of my endurance opera. The performance lasted 2 hours, and it inspired a series of audience walk-outs, in addition to dizziness, and at least one reported case of nausea.
Each Color From God-lung performance takes place inside the carcass of a giant elephant, one of thousands strewn across the earth, post-civilization.
Next performance, Color From God-lung (Larkwat 1106), will take place at the Stockholm Fringe Fest (STOFF) during the week of August 22 - 27.
And even somewhere dangerously close to you.
Love,
Dorian
